Intimacy Professional
About Jai
they/them
Jai Long is an Intimacy Professional based in the midwest and available for work nationwide. They are a queer, nonbinary artist dedicated to cultivating safer, braver spaces for performers and creative teams. With a deep commitment to advocacy for all marginalized communities, Jai approaches their work through a lens of equity, care, and authenticity. After compleating the Intimacy Professional Accelerator Program for both theater and film, and the Certification Intensive course through the SAG-AFTRA accredited training program from Intimacy Directors & Coordinators, they are currently certification pending for Intimacy Coordination. Jai also brings extensive training in mental health first aid, trauma-informed practices, conflict mediation, movement, and choreography to their work—ensuring that every space they enter is grounded in care, collaboration, and integrity. Their lifelong passion for the arts fuels a deep respect for storytelling that honors vulnerability, boundaries, and truth. Jai specializes in choreographing and facilitating intimate scenes that are not only safe and consensual but also emotionally honest and inclusive—both on stage and on screen. When not on set as an intimacy professional, they work for a non-profit that secures housing for homeless veterans. In their off time they can be found cuddling with their dog and two cats, playing video games, writing novels, crocheting, or reading.
